AMAZING PIZZA. loaded fries are also a must. our family of 6 got 2 pizzas loaded fries and the chicken for 2 meal to split. the bbq chicken pizza was so good and the pineapple is fresh on the Hawaiian. SIT ON THE BACK PATIO. we sat on the front porch and only realized there was a beautiful ocean view in the back after our meal. we also walked to the black sand beach after for sunset.

This place is a bit of a hidden gem. It's a low-key restaurant with delicious pizza, burgers, and barbecue. The atmosphere can't be beat. The quality of the food is extremely good. At lunch time, there were very few people there, though granted it was a weekday. This is actually a perfect stop for a meal if you are on your way to visit Waimea Canyon, it's very close to where you start climbing up the hill.

We LOVE Chicken in a Barrel! Definitely one of our regular spots we love to visit on the island frequently. We got 2 orders of the half chicken and let me tell you, it is roasted to PERFECTION & delicious it's always on point. Moist and succulent We also ordered a small pepperoni pizza and it was fantastic as well. Thin-ish crust and cooked perfectly as well. Also ordered the pupu of fried pickles w/ ranch, another good one! Everything was so dang good!! If your here and want to eat some great food with an awesome atmosphere and beautiful scenery this place is a must. Too add, they also have amazing drinks/beer/alcoholic beverages!!! We got lucky and were there on there Trivia Game night and had so much fun(friday) Me and my husband played the trivia game while our 4 yr old twins kept busy with the giant connect 4 game on the lanai. Always a fun time at this awesome establishment! 10/10 would recommend!

There is a casual patio in front good for kids, a nicer patio with view of ocean in back and indoor seating that I never use because I don’t like it compared to patios. Bbq sauce is my favorite but note it has lots and lots of smoke flavor, if you don’t like smoky flavor avoid it. Same with the chicken. Outdoor grilled and smoke flavor predominantly. The pizza is thin crust, the Hawaiian surprised me as a fave, it’s real pineapple not canned! ABSOLUTELY GET THE LOADED FRIES EVEN MY SPANISH FRIENDS USED TO GREAT TAPAS AGREED THEY WERE FABULOUS!

Terrific!!! I ordered the Lazy Boy with pork. The provolone cheese and grilled onions added the taste of the delicious pork. The pork was plentiful, and the bun was fresh and tasty. My wife got the pork plate, which I finished for her. A spoon would have helped with the side of chili. I just put some pork into the chili and soaked up the tasty chili liquid. The soda and the beer is self service. The soda has free refills, but the beer does not give you free refills {we can dream}. We sat on the outside deck and enjoyed the beautiful views while we enjoyed our lunch. FIVE star all the way!

A must stop on each visit to the island. This trip we were welcomed by Chantel, who informed us we arrived before opening. We took advantage and strolled the black sand beaches. When the restaurant opened we returned and Mel joined in on the fun. For the next couple of hours we felt as though we spent time with Ohana as we feasted on excellent food (the sampler platter is a must), and enjoyed the selection of the beer wall. We hugged our servers and wished them well before deparing on our next adventure. One of our top spots on the island, Mahalo!!!!

This was the gem of dinning for this trip. It’s barbecue almost as good as a Texas road house. Including the music and atmosphere. The pork was perfect, beef above average, skipped the chicken. The chili was also respectable, hardy with plenty of chili flavor and beef. The nachos were only missing jalapenos, but the was plenty of cheese and the chips were great. The back patio is the best view, and the service was great!
